I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia International University. Over the years, I’ve combined my academic training with extensive professional experience as a trauma therapist, coach, and group facilitator. I am trained in multiple trauma-informed modalities including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed practices, trauma-informed somatic coaching, and integrative trauma work.
My approach is deeply rooted in helping women heal from emotional abuse, religious trauma, narcissistic relationships, and childhood wounds — but more importantly, helping them reclaim their voice, reconnect with themselves, and create the life they desire.
In addition to my clinical work, I’ve developed group programs, coaching intensives, and healing communities that serve women from diverse backgrounds who are ready to move beyond surviving and into thriving. I continue to invest in ongoing training, mentorship, and research to ensure that the work I offer is grounded, compassionate, and effective.
For much of my own life, I wore the mask of the “good girl” — the one who stayed small, who kept the peace, who tried to be enough. Like so many women, I found myself trapped in toxic cycles, unhealthy relationships, religious harm, and spaces that demanded silence over truth. I know what it’s like to lose yourself, to question your worth, and to wonder if you’ll ever feel whole again.
But my story didn’t end there. Through my own healing journey, I did the deep work of untangling trauma, confronting painful patterns, and choosing to reclaim my life. I faced the lies that had shaped my story and learned to rewrite them with truth. Along the way, I discovered that healing isn’t about becoming someone else — it’s about finally coming home to who you’ve always been.
That’s why I say so often: You’re not that girl anymore.
Today, my mission is simple but sacred:
To create brave spaces for women to heal, to be seen, to be known, to be loved — and to remember that they matter.
Through Embrace Your Brave, I help women move from trauma and survival into freedom, wholeness, and bold living. This is not just about healing wounds; it’s about rediscovering our dreams, reclaiming our voice, and stepping into the fullness of who we are.
As Toni Morrison beautifully said, “If you are free, free someone else. If you have power, empower someone else.” That is the heartbeat behind my work.
Because when women heal, they heal the world.
Begin your journey towards a happier and more fulfilling life by taking the first step today.
